  • MODPACK: The Apolyton Extrapack v.2.0

The Apolyton Extrapack v.2.0 is here.
For those of you, who already have the Extrapack there's not much new, actually the new version even comes with static leaderheads only. For due to this, the file size has been lowered to 14MB. Another change is that the city names of the original civs are not altered anymore. T
Version2 was necessary because it is the fundament of what will be the "Extrapack-Expansion", a mod with intensive rules changes, new techs, buildings, wonders, governments etc., where you'll also find the city lists which have been removed from the "Original" Extrapack.
The Extrapack Expansion is almost done, tomorrow (or so), I'll put a "trial version" somewhere for people who'd like to playtest (I'll have a seperate thread for that.

The Apolyton Extrapack can be downloaded from here:

    June 22nd 2003: Get the patch v.2.0.1: http://apolyton.net/upload/files/Wer...patch2.0.1.zip

For those who don't know about the Extrapack, I'll post the readme again:

      I'm LOLing about boulboulgadol's nickname.

It means "big penis" in hebrew.

In this Extrapack there are no rule changes, it only adds civs. The Expansion will come within a few days for open playtesting, but there'll surely still be some bugs and unbalancing things in it. But I appreciate all volunteers!

Could you design it for PTW as well? I'd love to play it, but I have become addicted to PTW.

I don't own PtW (I hate to spend money on add-ons, especially when the company simply doesn't include some much desired features in order to sell it better. No, sir!), so I guess someone else would have to adapt the Mod for PtW.

You can't see the city? Weird. Did it happen once or constantly? Only with the Extrapack? Actually I have changed only the Civs with city lists etc., but sometimes the game behaves weird. Right now I was playing with my new Expansion-Mod (which until now worked perfectly, always) and I couldn't see conquered French citizens in a city and the game crashed on several occasions when I tried to make a citizen an artist there...
