Help needed to add units

If anyone could help I'd appreciate it.

I've downloaded some new units from some of our more skilled gamers (aaglo for one). To load them into Civ3, I have to open the editor, open the civ3.bic file... this is where my problems start... I can't find this file. I can only find the civ3mod.bic file.

Then I have to open the units tab and click the "add" button.... ... I can't find the "add" button.

Am I using an old version of the editor (it's the unmodified original off the game CD)? Is there a patch I need to install?

You should get 1.29f.

The gamerules are in civ3mod.bic, but you are suggested to add the units to a Scenario instead. With the later patches there is no difference between playing a Scenario than playing a normal game.
