  • sacking the capital for a civil war in CIV III

How do I change the rules so I can play by the old CIV II rule of sacking the capital and having civil war ensue with the enemy empire dividing.?

I have the original CIV III game not multiplay.

No. The effect in Civ3 is a big unhappiness hit across the capital-less empire - not as dramatic as Civ2.

But the capital is moved to an other city...? Well, I haven't experienced a loss of my capital, at least not late in the game when my empire is well developed

You could be right MoonWolf - I haven't checked it.

The Capitol always moves. Civ3 would break if a civ didn't have a capitol, because it is used in many, many calculations.
