no, but as you know that would still be after the period covered in my scenario, since this ends with the treaty of london and the arrival of Kapodistrias

that would be because they are its a grek traditional costome called "fustaneles", similar to the scottish kilt, but white. Probably they were certain of their masculinity so felt just fine with having such a costome
