      • Geek time

In addition to the entirely German Yildirim and Pascha Abteilungen in Palestine, the Turks had 3 decentralized air arms competing for pitifully few resources. Both Turks and Germans in Turk uniform flew these planes. By 1918, they numbered ~200 aircraft 'in varying conditions of operability'.

Fairline's beaut will be used to represent the 3rd Tayyare Bolugu, which flew out of Medina, and scared the hell out of the revolting Arabs.

The British fielded a single Handley Paige bomber, the biggest plane in the theater. The Arabs quickly dubbed it the mother of all planes, and it is said that some believed that was literally true!

Fairline, it's ideal. My Bedouins will be terrified. Have a virtual pint on me!

        • Would you be so kind to redo these planes too, Gareth? A Handley Paige and a Gotha G-V bomber?

            • I've dome some fairly major revisions to the Brisfit F-2b and Fe-2B pusher, and added a Fokker Triplane and Gotha bomber. For the allies there's an Airco DH-4 bomber; I don't think the big Handley Page bomber was used that much (?). Anyway, these are the final versions, until the next time I decide to mess with them:

Er.. I was talking out of my behind about the Handley Page bomber; the HP 0/400 later model didn't see much action but the HP 0/100 certainly did, so here it is:
