    • Nice units

A very interesting documentary on BBC2 on Friday about Aden inspired me to make some Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders from 1967.

      • Well, after a few hours spent reading up on misrepresentation and non-disclosure in insurance, there's nothing better than a few unit mods

Some Falklands Brits with packs and some with GPMGs:

        • Good work!

I am making units too, in an attempt to avoid a horrible university essay on virtual reality!

Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

              • Some Brits from the Malayan or Kenyan Emergencies...

(I wasn't too sure about equipment, as the SLR was only just being phased in, so would appreciate input)

                • Quite sure that some British units did evaluate the SLR during the Malayan Emergency during the early 1950s, I have a photograph.

By the way, have you read "A Face Like a Chicken's Backside" by JP Cross? Great book about the Emergency

sorry for not saying this earlier, but your Brit infantry are the bomb
I am sorry but I did not mean it as an insult. It was an ack! of suprise not disgust. Thinking about it now though I should have used eek! instead.

                          • I'll make a copy of the Malaysian infantry with Lee Enfleid rifles, as I think the SLR wasn't a general weapon in the 1950s. I haven't read the book ( @typhoon, but www.britains-smallwars.com is a good site).
