  • Magic Vs Science?

With Civ2ToT you have a Science Fiction scenario, Fantasy scenario, extended game that brings you an alien tech.

Why not a scenario with Earth contacting not an Alien world, but a Fantasy/Magic world? It would be interesting for each world to learn a new tech tree and Wonders allow simple things like temples to be double effect again.

Also -a war between Science and Magic civ's might be interesting....

    Anybody with scenario expertise interested?

What do you mean, two different tech trees or simply two different ways to "think"?
One civ can research improvements and wonders either from original civ and from Midgard? Or somthing different as each civ (depending if it is on fantasy or original side) has its own research path, wonders, units and so on?
I think that both could be interesting even if I would definitely prefer the "original" vs "fantasy" each with its own path leading to victory.
C'mon you conehead (scenarios Enistein), start to think about this instead of discover "bronze working"!!!

I meant what I said -Magic Vs Science.
This is similar idea to many novels where a "Gateway" is opened
between a magic world and Earth. I always imagined what would
happen if a permanent gateway opened and 2 different Civilizations
had to deal with different technologies....would they prefer to learn?
      Or fight?

Original Vs Fantasy Scenarios is the best way to go, I think. Trading
Tech trees might give the other Civ a boost if one of them a boost, but
the Civs could also steal tech, or conquer for it.
