Scenarios?

erm, does any one have a WW2 (on eupropean map and another on international map) scenario and any other tot scenarios?

All the ones i convert have pics missing eg, the picture for the city isn't there, but the flag and name are etc.

come on, there must be some people that made some easy to use scernarios.

as for the crade of civ... the WW2 scenario there looks to complicated to set up, more so, to complicated for my dopehead brain of an essex bimbo :rolleyes

I would love them in any languange

but the fact i cant read french makes it impossible (nearly) for me to know what is waht..... quite an important factor in day to day life

Have you tried "the great game"? Or ian thompson's "Lord of the rings"?

Im confused - you say convert - are you talking about the TOT ww2 scen (Europe in Flames, IIRC) found in cradle, or conversion of an FW/MGE scen using Angelo Scotto's conversion utility - if the former you dont need to convert - of the latter you may need advice on using the conversion utility (it took me a little while to get the knack)

scottos thing is where biezibub farts in my face :P

I got europe in flames to work now, but it is to pre defined. you have limited controll over the events. you just do what waas done.


With Scottos thing I can convert a scenario that uses no extra/different units etc. Bassically, i can get a scenario which is just a scenario to work. But if it has specialised units (eg, WW2europe, the 'hell' ww1 scen), i get the problem that the units dont show up when i play the game, eg, a pikeman represents a german panzer division!!!!!!

This gets a little annoting etc etc. I have tried many things, (i have no .spr's), like replacing the TOT units file with the one from the scenario, butthis just screws up my game

Stupid microprse, they could have made old scens compatible.

i use Civconverter 1.4 to convert my FW scenario to ToT !
my FW have extra units and i haven't this "bug" ! no unit is missing. If u talk about scenarios with more than 1 units.gif (multi-event scenarios) just use civconverter with each *.bmp/*.scn/rules.txt...

yeah, but the scenarios i have problems with come with a .gif file

and most of the stuff i convert is cic or older stuff. (Only the greek scenario thing on FW was anygood)

So save the .gifs as .bmp!

i may have the intelleigence of whale omlett, but i did try that.
