Spartacus:
How to Accomplish the Perfect First Turn.
1. Move Spartacus to the Farmland square directly NW of Pompeii.
2. Attack Pompeii with a Gladiator at 2/3 strength from the square directly SW of the city, you'll get 100 Talents from the Prefect.
3. Move the other Gladiator into the same square as the one that attacked the Prefect, do not take the city.
4. Move every Armed Slave in the Spartacus Camp to the same square that the other two gladiators already occupy, again, do not take the city.
5. Activate the fortified Armed Slave above the Spartacus Camp and move the unit into Spartacus Camp and fortify it.
6. Move the Archer NE of the square it's already in, it should be on a forest road square.
You can also rush-build the colloseum in Spartacus Camp if you want.
This is the perfect first turn, and I dare anyone to say otherwise.
Why?
Two reasons...
1. The Romans will rush-build walls in Pompeii during their turn, saving you the money.
2. Pompeii will remain unoccupied by any units because the Garrison will attack Spartacus.
For the second turn, just move Spartacus into the City, then he'll be completely healed and you can move the rest of your units in there to prepare for the next fight, sans the archer, who should head north, destroy the Roman Villa and "examine" the flowers.
