Presidential Election Results
Washington -- With the election of Republican candidate Malcom S. Forbes Jr. to the highest office in the land beating out President Albert Gore Jr. in a tight race. Malcolm S. Forbes got just 47% percent of the vote while Gore going for his second term in officer after defeating Bob Dole in the 1996 Presidential Elections, got just 42%. The remaining 11% went to went to third party candidates, with 9% going to Pat Buchanen and 2% going to Ralph Nadar and the Greens. Any other candidates made inconsequential showings. Forbes a staunch libertarian will undoubtably try to re arrange and change America's burdensome tax system and try to close many of the loopholes and make the system easier.
