  • Seeking aspiring new artist.

I'm wondering if there's anyone out there who would like to try their hand at some Civ2 Icon artwork? I'm just finishing up version 2 of American Civil War, and it needs some finishing touches, such as icon and improvement artwork for the various wonders in the scenario. There are 15 in all. I could sure use some help with this.

Are there any budding Fairline's out there?

I don't think I would do well with improvement/wonder art, but with the other parts of the icons file, I believe I do well. I also do about half of it in about one or two hours. Here's an example of my "iconic" work. The background is basic, but I didn't think that a textured background really matched the scenario (Pokemon). I don't know why it's in jpg format, but that is easy to fix if it is a problem.

The icons I´m using in my Civilwar scenario are all in the style like Curt make them. I´ve also changed some city-styles from him and created an own Civilwar style.

Please let me know If I should send them to you or what you especially need, maybe I can help you. I´m currently working and finishing my scenario.

How about a real one, or did you get the icons done?

Not entirely. Are you still at your old email?

Yes I did Brian. Er, when you said icons I thought you meant unit icons. You mean icon icons...

I'm probably not the right man for this - Where's Ciaran?

Probably in Scotland somewhere. Yes, icon icons. Why not go out on a limb for once, and take a chance? Live life to the fullest!
