    Damn these unit masks! Damn them to hades!

    I have recently made some changes to Eurasian Wars, creating a '2010' version.
    One of these changes was to create a generic 'airborne' unit to replace the old
    Italian airborne unit. Giving all civs the para ability...

    Problem was that I decided to make a new mask to give the para unit civ colours.
    As you know, I have created masks before, and they give no problems normally...
    Until now!

    The Italian para unit had no mask previously, and now when I try to
    make a mask work with that unit slot, it is simply refusing to take!

    I have followed all the procedures, deleted the SPR, made a new 24-bit unit file,
    and while the mask works for all other slots, it just does not work with the para
    unit (which is in the Legion slot)...

    I am at the brick wall stage...Not knowing what to do next...
    I can only imagine the problem is tied into save files or similar...?

    Wondering if anyone here has had a similar problem with masks
    and individual slots? Advice would be welcome, naturally!

    Egads! I am a consummate dimwit! (you all knew this!)

    I forgot to check the over-ride mask option in the "@UNITS_ADVANCED" portion of
    the rules text file...I knew something was missing...Oh well, this thread is moot!

    But it serves as a lesson for unit masks, don't neglect the rules file!
