ToT conversions?

I can't get Scotto's MGE - ToT snenario converter to work with Vista, otherwise I'd do this myself. Does anybody have ToT conversions of the following two scenarios:

- Komnenai
- Fading Lights

I don't need pukka conversions which follow Catfish's guidelines as I can do this myself. I just need somebody to run the scenarios through Angelo Scotto's converter.

Viking Age

Has anyone ever tried converting Jamestout's Viking Age scenario to ToT format before? I've tried twice and have gotten very odd results from the converter program.

They probably all read the Readme file, you know, the bit where it says to convert the graphics to 24-bit BMPs before running CivConverter. Guides are useful, too.

Thanks catfish Your guide is great. I realized the mistake shortly after making the post.

Unfortunately the conversion still isn't properly working yet. When ever I go to the Anglo-saxon build menu ToT crashes to the desktop. I suspect it is probably something to do with the rules.txt, but I couldn't find exactly what it was.

That sounds very much like the issue in section 5.2 of the guide. Those types of crashes normally occur on the first turn, either when you attempt to access the build menu or during the AI's move. It requires hex editing. If you need help there, post the SCN file.

When it comes to GFX files, I tend to grab the ToT unit.bmp, copy it into
the new coverted folder, and merely cut and paste the MGE content in.



Converting is mostly for the SCN file...Everything else is best done by hand.
The rules file also sometimes needs extra work for a good adaption to ToT.
