Yes, these three styles are standard, each for all civilizations of 2 or more colors. It was a compromise between the number of styles, and the number of dedicated units. In the end, I cut the number of styles down to three in order to get 13 dedicated unit slots for each style.

Your idea would provide a great variation, although it would be impossible to do a historic set for all civs - what tank would the Aztecs use, for example? I think another set of units, for say, the Japanese, French and Americans is doable.

What do you think of the idea to post this as an open source type project on the SL site?
I've attached the units I mentioned, and good point on the half-track.

I think this one would be great as an open mod for people to tinker with.
Reckon an aztec tank could be made, perhaps some South American type?
It would be fun to guess at unit types for all the cultures, actually...
That's why an open version would be great fun, I'll wager...!

Nice work, so far, dude! Looking forward to testing it out -

Yes. I have several finished projects which I'm waiting some free time during the Xmas break to upload: Red October v.2, Prince of Darkness ToT, and the Test of Time Original game mod. Right now I'm finishing up a beta version of American Civil War, which I'll send out to playtesters in a couple of weeks.

Hey Gordon, I want my money back! And for God's sakes tax those leaching bankers!

I should have realised there was a subtext to those 'Dictator' scenarios; practicing for real-life invasions of other people's countries eh Gordo?

I'd love to give it a try.

Yes, more or less. The problem is I've been tied up with ACW. It's about ready for release, and I'll try and get it, the ToT mod and Prince of Darkness (ToT) uploaded soon. In the meantime, version 2 of Red October is up on the SL site, thanks to McMonkey.
