A tragedy happened. I came to my hometown, and looked for my old laptop. It's gone. My mother decided that I'd probably not need it anymore, and has thrown it away, only a month ago. My final work on Heraclius, my correspondence with various people, my diary from Syria, all gone.
I really can't understand why my parents think it's OK to throw my stuff to garbage without not only asking me about it, but even letting me know.

The only chance now that I may get some of my Heraclius work back is that I have probably sent it to some people, like Bernd... This way I wouldn't recover the most advanced version, but at least a better one than the 2004 one. argh.

Wowzers I normally throw out old magazines and letters when I'm tidying, not laptop computers. Your parents house must be spotless!

I have a version on my hard-drive but I think it was the one that was posted here so that probably doesn't help much.

Just a few remarks, sorry i know quite an old thread but i had the time to test your scenarios only recently. First many thx for releasing them to us. Your muhammad scenario works fine for me, as far as i could look into it, and is great fun too. Heraclius however doesn't seem to be a ToT version scenario, when i load it with ToT it sais obsolete scenario version or something like that. In MGE it works fine though. I noticed that the values for Roman Heavy Infantry and Light Infantry are probably interchanged by accident. In the provided rules.text i noticed there are two entries for Roman HI:

        Roman HI, no, 0, 1.,0, 4a,3d, 2h,1f, 4,0, 1, Feu, 000010000000000
        Roman HI, Feu, 0, 1.,0, 4a,1d, 1h,1f, 4,0, 1, Chi, 000000000000000

the second RHI unit is already the one active from scenario start. So Roman LI is actually stronger:

        Roman LI, no, 0, 1.,0, 5a,1d, 2h,1f, 3,0, 0, Chi, 000000000000000

I just deactivated the second Roman HI and set the first to expire with chi, too, cause i thought that makes more sense.

Ahh, so i see. Roman HI is practically an obsolete unit then?

yes. Although you start with a couple full-worthy units. You can recognise them by that the shield is on another side or something, I do not recall.

Damn, damn, I can't get over losing the ToT version, it had some more graphics and many more events.
