    I would assume that this moniker encompasses many of us These images look like McBride's work. Can any of you guys place which books specifically they were in?

    I do not think they are in Osprey format. They look like Concrd 6005 Ancient Armies.By the late Angus Mc Bride. I am only guessing though.

      I am the proud owner of a couple dozen of these fine volumes. Fairline has way more, I'm sure, and puts them to very good use.

      I'd say the pics are of ancient Israelites, yes?

        Thanks Tim. That's probably a good a guess

        techumseh: I'm quite fond of them as well, I think Gareth's collection has a reputation for its large size I think the picture on the top is a representation Syrian or Canaanite maryannu and the picture below that is of the Great King of Hatti.

            I'd agree with Erin, Canaanites and Hittites. McBride used similar outfits for his plates in the Osprey Bronze-Age titles.
