Does someone can tell me if it is possible to play ToT on MP option simply by linking 2 computers in the same room together ?

umm i think you both need separatephone lines, And Dial-Up on your ISPs. Then Know each others IPs and simply type them up on the Multi-player option.

you know im available for Mplay :-)

I have played ToT quite recently on 2 PCs connected via a home network. My network is a USB network, but it should work the same with any network cards. I just chose the TCP/IP protocol from the Multiplayer options, and the second PC sees the first via the same method. If you're talking serial port connections, then I don't know however.

Does ToT have a serial cable option?

              WTF?

CIV2 MGE works fine in a LAN with IPX and TCP/IP as well, so it should work fine in TOT too... just that you use IP doesn't mean you've dialed up zto the I-net!

Hell, 2 persons want to play a game in the same room using 2 machines, and you tell them they have to dial up and pay the online fee?

Matey, all you need is 2 LAN cards and the certain software. I'm sure TOT supports LAN games, either via IPX or via TCP/IP... most likely both of those LAN types are supported. It's really not too hard.

sigh... ISP and dial up, for a LAN, I don't get it...
