  • thank you...

    For a long time, I read the various topics in this forum. I downloaded scenarios and played many hours. And then one day I decided to post a message. And other messages have followed ...
    I would like to say a big thank you to all those who made that civilization is my favourite game.

    Maybe that other players read these topics and would like to thank :
    Harlan Thompson, Captain Nemo, Alex the Magnificent, CurtSibling, Techumseh, Agricola, Fairline, Civ2Units, Catfish, Exile, Eivind IV ...
    (The list should be too long and I ask forgiveness from all whom I have not mentioned).

    I propose to do so ....
    For me it's done and I hope there are still many scenarios coming...

    Michael, hopefully I'm making a big mistake and reading much too much into your words, but is everything OK?

    The Red Front TOT jinx hasn't struck again, has it?

      John,
      don't worry. It's been a long time since I played Civilization 2. I took advantage of all your efforts during those years. it deserves a few thanks.

      I don't give up redfront. I will soon have a few days off. So I would have more free time to work on the scenario.

      I will use your idea about US division and make the changes about spawned units.
      I think other US units will be useless. It will free some units slots. If you want to include other units...

        I hope you don´t go away, I´ve still my Conquest scenario in my mind and would like to see you for one of the playtesters. Also someone have to look over my reworked AWI scenario, when I´ve finished my current project.

            Whew, you had me really worried that, like Fieldmarshal Klesh, you had burned yourself out working on RF TOT.

                @MacGalleo:

                Don't let the RF project overwhelm you, dude!
                If you feel the task is too massive, take a break and play
                some games of CIV2, relax and let the gears loosen some!

                I find a little break, or even working on a totally different
                project helps the batteries recharge...All we would ask
                is that you stick with us here in SL forums!

                We need all you brilliant new CIV2 scenario-engineers!

                  @Curt
                  thanks for your advices. You're right: working on two or three projects and play some games of civ2 in the meantime may help the batteries recharge.
                  When I have enough of a project, there is a pause while working on another one (or playing a game)...
