More than four maps?

Technically, yes. However, four maps is the maximum at anyone time. You could swap a map in partway through. However, any units or cities on the deleted map will dissappear and you will have to place units via events on the new map. Furthermore, this would need swaping of terrain files, as well as rules files.*grumbles about work*

No, you can't import it. There's no way to access it, and the terrain doesn't show up, and in games with four maps, you can't even use the import map feature. I wonder why it's there?-Variety is the spice of life, but it gives me indegestion-

Uh, you can import maps because I've done it... but you also have to set up transport relationships in the Rules.txt and add extra terrain graphics files to the directory, which the Original/Extended game doesn't have (beyond map2 for extended).
