Oweing to a partiality for the Byzantine Empire (and a dislike of how much of a pain in the behind city disorder is) I made a couple tweaks to Exile's marvelous Age of Crusades scenario.
Said tweaks:
1) The navy does not mysterious weaken for no apparent reason (it made sense under historical circumstances, I see no reason this one would be particularly likely to occur in game)
2) Byzantine Foot is recruitable.
So I'm wondering. Has anyone else made this kind of tweak to this scenario?
Its a very interesting one, and probably even better with better opponents than the AI, but it seems to make life just a little too hard for the Empire.
It has enough things that it can suffer to not need to be whalloped with defenseless, disordered cities and its only claim to naval superiority canceled by an event that may or may not make sense given the circumstances of the game.
