Spaceship bug???

Just curious has anyone ever had this happen....I discovered spaceflight, built my spaceship and landed on AC. No other civs had even begun to build a ship. The romans stole ultrastring theory from me and suddenly they were on AC. They never built a spaceship! Has this happened to anyone?

Quite possible. IIRC, Ultrastring Theory allows Colonists, which can teleport directly to AC.
