Free map editor?

I am looking for a free map editor. is there one out there? I don't own a copy of Civ II or any other version other than Test of Time, and boo hoo, an editor didn't come with. Thanks.

I can't help you with free editors, but you can snag the original Civ II for $8 now; it ain't free, but it's cheap...

Its not exactly a map editor, but I have a program that converts .bmp files into .mp (civ2 maps) format. You can create maps that way. Send me your email address if you are interested. Mine is: jalal@writeme.com
