    I need help from anybody. I can not figure out why my Native Transport is not working. The trouble is not so much that it is NOT working, the trouble is that it IS working for units that don't even have native transport ability. In fact, I set all native transport for every unit to zero, and I still had units that had native transport. Help!

    I guess no one has an answer, huh? I'll just have to figure it out on my own.

      I posted a note in another thread that may explain your problem. After you modify rules.txt, you must start a NEW game to try out your transport ideas. If you were loading a saved game with your modified rules.txt, then you got the native transport capabilities left over from the saved game.

      The reason is that there is an event action that changes native transport, so the game has to remember transport state and ignore rules.txt when loading a saved game.
