Agreed, thank you John for your replies to my emails a few months ago, I'll put those things you thought me to good use very soon, now that im back from what you call boot camp Will finally have some time to make scenarios and Mod packs for this great game. Would be much harder without your help! =]

Hi, Alexandre! Glad to see you survived. Check out the new Apolyton marketplace; among other things, they're trying to get people interested in the scenario book.

ah yes, John, I was meaning to tell you about it: someone actually bought your civ2 scenario making book through us!

Could someone shed a bit more light on this designers' guide - what are the three scenarios - and would an experienced Civ2 scenario author get much from the guideline (i.e. is it basic stuff) or is it for more adept designers - or both? I assume the scenarios are copyright and won't be freely accessible. Do the scenarios contain new sprites not already available?

d-oh! I thought this was a new Test of Time scenario builders' guide.

Neat! I don't get royalties, but I hope they like it.

              MarkG - That was me!

I thought up a radically different scenario a couple of weeks back and I want to try my hand at it. (not in ToT, though I finally bought that too.)

I also bought some more Hasbro stock for a couple of different reasons, but I figure a company with John on staff can't be all bad.
              Be the bid!

I guess I'll just be a part of the group and say, "Thanks John!"
