This is the fourth (and last, for now) of several postings to suggest totally different uses of the 4-map capability.
Construct a 4-map world in which it is possible to traverse all the "land" areas on all maps, but only by exploring and finding a maze of built-in connections.
In this approach, there are no naval units, and native transport is extremely limited. The tunneling ability may also be limited. the connection points are critical to world domination, and there will be battles for their control. For example, create a place where a set of squares, 6x6, ALL provide tunnels between maps 2 and 0. It is possible, but difficult, to occupy all 36 squares and block the entrance.
