I did however order one of Amazon - and it disappeared in the "customs process" - as things do here.
I will probably order a version to get sent to NZ - I will be back there at the end of the year.I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? the problem I'm having is that Civ2 uses all available prosessing power, and after a maybe half an hour the computer overheats and shuts down. last time when I tried Civ2, a year ago, all went fine, but now there's this overheating problem. and I'm running XP on a laptop. My Words Are Backed With Bad Attitude And VETERAN KNIGHTS!

Make sure your laptop is well ventilated. It can make a huge difference. Ming's was bogging down horribly playing Civ4, but when he put the machine "up on blocks" to create some airflow, all the problems disappeared.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

I have small "blocks". maybe I should use thicker ones?....
I played Civ2 on a train, when I was going to my Xmas holiday. and it was seriously colder on that train, than in my apartment. but still there was this over heating problem.
