Make new Maps (Scenarios)

How can I make new maps. In Civ2 there had been an editor with which one could do this but not with ToT. Or how can I use Civ2 Editor for ToT?

I think you can just use the Map Editor from Civ2 to make maps for ToT. That does work as far as I know.

Well, if you want to make scenarios with ToT it's back to the good old fashion way of going into the rules.txt or whatever other file you need to change and do it all by hand. That takes some time...

I do not think that the Editor that comes with Fantastic Worlds will work for ToT.

Yes you can use the old Civ2 map editor, works fine. You can even work with the new terrain graphics if you copy them into the original directory.

No the editors don't work because of the different file structure, but this is no problem as they were buggy anyway and real scenario makers alter the text files directly.
