I'm a bit confused....
I've seen some screen shots and read some very limited info about ToT, but I can't really see how its different from Civ2, besides the layered maps and fantasy game etc. (Which sounds more like a built in scenerio than a different game). Besides comsmetic changes what else is there that is different?

I think MicroProse was pretty frank that the ToT versio of the basic game does not have much that is new. However the multimap games are not just a scenario. playing on overlapping multimaps is really different and challenging in new ways.
