Civ 2 TOT Bug questions

I was wondering if the following issues were resolved with Civ TOT

1> Has the maximum cities limit been extended beyond 256

2> Has the max population figure been fixed to handle pops bigger than 325,000,000 people?

I'm afraid not. These limits are built pretty deeply into the code, and in ToT, we chose not to make those kinds of changes. It would have delayed the release date quite a bit.
