ToT Scenarios

I have ToT for about 2 hours right now, and I already want to play scenarios

On the Apolyton newsletter, I read there is a Microprose scenario for download, at the size of 15 MB!
I cannot download this kind of stuff.
What is the standart largeness of a ToT scenario?
Where can I find the most (and best)?

Well, the new Microprose Tot scenario is only 11 MB. ToT is large because of the big bitmap files, animations, audio and possibly video.

It is possible for a scenario to be small. It could consist of the *.scn file, a modified rules.txt, and and events.txt ONLY.

You will see these small scenarios only if people can resist the temptation to make the graphics and sound realistic.

Why not try MIDGARD, the scenario that comes with ToT? Have you mastered four-map play yet?

There is no reason for MicroProse to break down the scenario file given the recent mainstream additions of "download resume" software for the Web, in the form of Go!Zilla ( http://www.gozilla.com ) and GetRight ( http://www.getright.com )

As was mentioned in the latest article about the TT Paradox scenario in our CivII section, we recommended that you download one of these programs first before attempting to download the scenario, so you can 'pick the download up where you left off' in case the transfer is interrupted.
