Not sure when the Turks captured Constantinople. I know in the game I'm currently playing (as the French), they've already got it as well as all of the Anglo-Normans' Cursader holdings, and always attack my Holy Land possessions whenever they can. I've made some progress into Egypt, but it's not exactly a swift conquest.

No Italian Normans? Those were quite prolific crusaders and got a big share of the crusader states.

Have you even opened the scenario? The Normans are well represented in the Mezzogiorno and the Holy Land. As also the screenshot indicate!
