Mongols (from the messages that I see) appears to be rolling over Poland
Makes me pleased to hear that the Mongols are harassing Europe

Yeah that is quite amusing. The plague tech is given randomly once in the game, and is the population pollution generating tech of Automobile

This is not uncommon for the AI to be agressive towards the human player. That beeing said, if you manage to capture Cordoba, you'll be able to build the Reconquista wonder (Eiffel Tower).

Spain actually get more units via event than the others. The templar unit has the same random turn event for all civs. Spain in adition gets the Santiago Knight.

    Inquisition's a *****!

That's a little annoying, but not crucial.

I havn't forgotten about it, just needed to get this one out of my mind.

You know how the AI cheats Especially if you're playing at deity. This one was designed to be played at King.

Maybe I should conquer England and/or part of Germany before trying, but I do not want to remove power from Germany, as they have lost some cities to the Polish, and I will need to stop mongols.
All the happiness wonders are in the Holy Land, so retaking Jerusalem should be a priority. That monastery thing is actually a bug should actually not be possible, it's too an effective terrain. All monasteries in the game are geographically placed based on famous real life medieval monasteries. I guess I could lower the terrain stats and make it possible to build monasteries. Actually an interesting idea.

I prefer to have sounds but can cope without them. I always turn off the CivII music and put on my own music in the background but I like to hear the battles raging!

Playing as King, it is 1287 and all Spain (and Portugal) is mine (playing as Spain) except Valencia, which the French people conquered first. Well, I think that my knights will conquer Valencia and the south of France. Probably Tangiers, Naples and Athens after that - it is what makes sense for Spain

This really remind me of Cross and Crescent. Right now I'm playing as the Polish...very fun! Good job Eivind.

An update released after some minor bugs were reported. First came 1.2, then rather quickly 1.2b, as I forgot to include the pedia.txt

I also wrote a readme at the SL download page.

Well, I played as the Anglo-Normans, and conquered most of the Middle-Eastern Saracen territory (though they seem to sill be at large in much of Asia Minor) ... got to the gates of Baghdad, but sadly, no further.

Also played as the Poles, and boy, are those "Warriors" tough to crack! Managed to take Vladimir and one northern city or something, but the Saracens took Kiev and I had to battle to keep hold of Pinsk! Really, really wanted to take Kiev, but I could never get around to it.

Also funny how all the AI govs abandon their governments for Duchy and start hacking at each other. (Poles vs. Spaniards? How are the going to get their armies to fight each other )

Anyway, excellent scenario as always, if in need of a few adjustments.

Thanks for the feedback, GoD (random intitials? ). I intentionally removed all government tech's so that they would stick to the one given to them...how wrong was I? Just made some tests where the civ's had their start govenrment tech, monarchy, and they kept with it. Please come with more bug reports and I will release another small update.

In what year did the Turks capture Kiev? Did they capture Constantinople first? And how did the Moors do?

Unless I'm mistaken, there is a scenario option which allows you to choose "no government changes"

There is indeed. But far down the tech tree you will get a tech called Imperium (communism). If government switching is turned off, then you will not be able to revolt. I havn't tested this, but I'm asuming.

Oh, Sorry if I misunderstood! I thought you didn't want any change to occur!

But do you really want the Imperium tech to be used or not?
