    Comrades...

    Our fellow workers, scientists and party officials are proud to anounce a new breakthough in socialist co-operation.

    Redfront 1.5+ for TOT beta 4 dec 2007

    Replace your exisitng files with this one



    Just load scenario Redfront1.5 and play as per normal
    ReadmeRF1-5tot for info.

    Please email me any bugs/observations and how you went in it.

    I will then be able to post it as a final inc instructions once its been tested ok by a few ppl. Due to my time contraints i havern't been able to play it over and over to test everything.

    Your results will determine if i make some extra changes before officially releasing it.

          Yes, at least one bad movement event. Also, Hitler offers to negotiate every time the Germans capture a city.

          I'd say that this one needs at least a quick playtest by the designer.

            What... Saboteurs in our ranks, i'll check the files again as i put them together at work from my home pc, might have been a error.

            When TOT indicates a error in the events file it will still play the scen but without any events which means things like negotiations with leaders take place etc

            Yeah a old event file will rectify soon

            Ok i've replaced the offending comrades ahumm files, lets see how you do..

                I just watched a little your files ...
                I will consider more later.
                You should not use my rules1 file to your make your 1.5 version or keep my changes to all rules files.
                For example : My units_advanced section is not the same than in the Nemo's rules file.
                I suggest you start from the catfish's conversion. My changes were not yet sufficiently tested...

                  I have taken the TOT conversion of the rules and cut and pasted the rules sections from my Rf1.5 for MGE that are used in the game.

                  I have no entries in units_advanced at all and nor do i use them.

                  Anyone familuar with RF1.5 for MGE can confirm that its the same thing with the exception of some new events & relocation of units to stop autoupgrades.

                  It even has the new terrain types there peat bog etc.

                  During development i was learning what was different between mge and tot from looking at a variety of files and found that transponder for example had to be entered in the units section also another ,0 in terrain types as well.

                  The stuff past @governments that i don't use or are relevent to the game i just cut and paste it from catfish's TOT rules file.

                  I think maybe this is what u could be refering too(yes i found the parts+some sounds in one rule file rules1), i'll change it cheers Mac

                      Sorry that I've had time for only a quick look at your scen.

                      River Mines lack the invisibility flag.
                      Also, I would repectfully repeat what I e-mailed you a week ago: "may I suggest that you check all the text that you have written for both syntax and spelling."

                        Well I meant the Fortified Batteries that are now called Penal Divisions and have a movement allotment of 1. But you do have an excellent idea for a new unit

                          Don't be confused. Feel free to use my files if you want. I think only those of Nemo are a better basis.

                            If you haven't used the units_advanced from the Catfish conversion, then you have lost the flags denoting which units will use sprites rather than units.bmp. This is important as Catfish and I used spriteGen to remove health bars from static units. You have also no doubt lost the invisibility flag used with river mines and also the sound association section at the end of the rules.

                              The unit stats is ok its just the GFX thats wrong, i will rectify in my next update.
