A pilot killed today at Shoreham Airshow while doing a mock battle display in a WW2 Hurricane fighter.
Just thought I would put up a tribute thread to mourn both the loss of the airman's life and the loss of an irreplaceable piece of history.
Just a terrible thing to happen at a show where people hope to have their thoughts in the sky, for all to see such an awful disaster.
As we have many WW2 history buffs here, I thought this story might be of interest...
