Bonaparte III

From the word go I would l would like to make it clear that this scenario is not entirely my original work.
This is an modified version of John Ellis' classic Bonaparte II. At the moment uses the same technology tree, units and events on my well used European map.
I decided to do this for several reasons:
1. The new map is approximately twice the size of the original and should offer enhanced tactical game play.
2. This game is a favorite of the PBEM community but there were some things that we felt needed changing to make it more fun or more balanced.
3. There were several additions I wanted to make and simply messing the original around did not seem satisfactory to me.
I will go through some of the changes and additions below in more detail.
I wanted to get as much input as possible from the CivII playing community to make Bonaparte III worthy of its name. At Civ Webring we have already discussed a number of ideas and I thought Apolyton would be the perfect place to add to and refine them!

So far I have copied the original game as closely as I could onto the larger map. It should be playable already so please have a go!
The game is for MGE and is designed initially with PBEM in mind. The original was also intended for single player so this version may wok out too. Not too sure how the AI will cope with the wider spaces though. That is something to be worked out at a later date!
I tried to upload the files in this post and failed. Please see posts #8 and #9 for the games files
Would have just put everything on the Scenario League wiki but I am having problems uploading there too

Having similar problems uploading the sounds. I will be posting them further down the thread too in several saperate zipped files.
If you already have a copy of John Ellis' Bonaparte 2 then just use those sounds as I have not altered them! The sounds from Bonaparte 1 (the one on the SL wiki) are not really 100%compatible though!
EDIT: Sounds can now be downloaded from posts #11-15. Wish Apolyton had a larger dl limit

Thanks Voltar. Initially I am keeping things as simple as possible and designing this to be played as an MGE PBEM game. Hopefully with the help of the guys here I can also make it into a decent single player game.
To be honest I have never played the original as a single player game! Therefore I am not sure how the AI normally does or how it would cope with the larger map.
I do know that in nearly all of the PBEM's France has been beaten, even when a top player takes the role of Napoleon. I have therefore added another ten cities to France (mainly in the Rhine area) and given them the Bonaparte unit!
This should help to make France a more formidable opponent in PBEM games and should also boost them a bit in SP. If people want to see a proper SP version then I may be persuaded to give it a go at some point. Converting it to ToT and using the extra events and units should helpp make it more of a challenge!
Initially though I intend to make finish off the MGE version for full release.
Regarding the Prussian's colours. If you don't like a nations colour you can simply open the CITIES file with paint (or equivalent) and pick one you like. Just change the two circled areas in the image below and save!
