  • A quandary involving pixelated graphics

Namely, what graphics program should I use?

For a good number of years, I've been using Photoshop 6.0 for the Mac to satisfy my graphics editing and drawing needs, however said program does not run on my Mac (it involves switching to the Intel chip.) I've downloaded a trial version of the latest Photoshop, but it's only got 14 days or so left, and I don't think I can really afford the hundreds of dollars these programs all take (Though I might be able to get a student discount.) So I'm wondering what paint program I should try to get. Any thoughts?

Paint Shop Pro 5 is what I have been using during my entire CIV2 career.

I'd use a later version, but I would have to buy it!

Corel PHOTO-PAINT 12 from CoralDRAW Graphics Suite, at the moment.

A little bit tricky but very powerful...

But i think Corel supports Mac only till Version 11 ?!?

I use PSP 7 and 8. The latest version of PSP is expensive, but I picked both up once they had been superceded and consigned to the bargain bin (they cost £10-£20 / $20-$40)
