Careful - doing this will render a poor conversion of the existing palette of your pic to the MGE palette. A better idea is to simply load in the civ palette to your title pic.

If you have problems with this Werd, I'll do it when I'm back in the UK later this week. I only have my laptop with me atm and I don't have civ and the civ palette on it (although I do have a batch of civ graphics and PSP bizarrely. That probably speaks volumes.....)

Yes, they do not and no, they do not. Just airbases, so if you have a scenario without air units, they make perfect stackable terrain.

Thanks for the generous offer Boco but I have just finished redoing it myself. I decided that too much of the map was visable for all the civs + the mistakes so started from scratch. I am happy with the results now!

Horay. I have got the title working, thanks guys. Funny how a small detail like the title can cause such problems. With every scenario I am learning new tricks, and forgetting old ones!

Just need to finish off the read me and tech tree printout and I am done

Everything is finished and ready to download. Please take a look and let me know what you think. I am prepared to amend things as I get feedback.

Although designed with PBEM in mind it should be fun as a single player game as there is a fair amount of exploring to do, a brand new tech tree and loads of barbarians to contend with. Play at deity level as any of the tribes. As always a look through the read me file is recommended.

small problem

I started a game, and the first impression is good!

I'm not far in my game, but I noticed a small problem with the envoy: I guess he is a diplomat? If yes, he doesn't work as such as you set his role at 12 (??) instead of 6 in the rules file!

And in case he isn't a diplomat, what use is he?

Doesn't setting him to 12 make him twice as good a diplomat? I will fix that straight away. I did test the units but I decided to increase the Envoys cost to 12 and must have put that value in the wrong place!Thanks.

I did take a gquick look at it but I have been busy trying to finish this off. I will have a play tommorow night. Tonight I have a new Russian film about Afghanistan to watch called the 9th Company. Its meant to be quite good!

Forgot to say. We are looking for a 7th player to start a PBEM of this game at Civ Webring. If we can find a player they can have the choice of the Celts, Germanics or Seleucids. I will play with any nation!

While playing with the romans, I noticed that the barbarians are hoarding their galleys in port instead of making the seas insecure: I must have slaughtered 20-30 in port with my hastati and principes to take Pharos and Salonii!

That was not the intention! I wonder if setting them to attack insted of naval superiority may change their attitude?
