You just had to do it right when I had at last found my cruise speed on Lost Legions, didn't you? Now I'll never finish it!

This scenario is brutal. I haven't seen such agressive naval AI tactics in a ww2 scenario before. In my experience so far the Jap AI can't take it. The US AI landed in Japan asap and just rolled over them!
I play as the Aussies, btw.

I'm very glad to hear the AI is playing with the hardball tactics!
The new invasion fleet unit seems to encourage landings and attacks!

I found the US navy to be grim opponent too when I played as the Germans...
They were sending out super battleships in fearsome numbers...!
The only way to fight that kind of force is to build your own SBBs!

            PS
The fighter trap is useful too!

Where do you get the no-limits add on at?

I'm going to half to learn some time soon how to find and compile so many sound effects into .wav files like this. Where did you find and what is that intro score that plays upon loading the scenario and the one that plays upon the beginning of Barbarossa btw?

I've started playing as the Commonwealth and my ultimate goal is to raise the Union Flag over the Reichstag by 1944. I'll let you know how that works out.

Much of the music is from a band I listen to called 'Rhapsody',
they are an Italian epic-rock band who like using those kind
of scores as intros to their albums.

I just converted the MP3s to wavs and sliced them...

                    Sounds like a plan!

Curt: Thanks for (yet another) fun scenario.

I'm close to wrapping up a run-through as the Germans, and it's been a heck of a fight. Wave after wave of American bombers came across the Atlantic, and it's been a long, slow fight for naval superiority. (a quick peek using the scenario editor showed over 130 American bomber casualties by June 1944). Soviet resistance has been crushed, the British Isles captured (in '42), and India has fallen to the German juggernaut. With the first landings on American soil in June of '44, it's just a matter of time before the whole world flies the German flag.
Libraries are state sanctioned, so they're technically engaged in privateering. - Felch
I thought we're trying to have a serious discussion? It says serious in the thread title!- Al. B. Sure

Good show! It really is a pleasure!

It was the same story for me, as my Panzers rolled across the US heartlands in a blistering bliztkrieg in June 1945.

Up till then, I came very close to losing it in the Mediterranean, as dozens of Super Battleships and B17s pounded me
out of North Africa! Luckily the well-timed discovery of Super U-Boats and Jet Fighters enabled me a foothold and I
slowly weathered the storm, taking back Algiers, Tunis and wiping out Casablanca, as it was too much bother to keep!

I really enjoyed the arm-wrestling match with the Allies, and now they are reduced to a scattering of island areas.

I'll pick them off with my hideously giant fleet and endless legions of armoured might! I am currently sending a
a fleet of 10 Super Battleships, about 12 regular Battleships, 4 fully-laden Carriers and 8 crammed Invader barges
to Australia for the final face off with the Allies, then it will be a choice of when to remove the Japanese...

I have to salute the Brit and USA enemy AI, who are still able to send out stinging attacks even at this stage!

I am having good fun, and it is teaching me plenty of useful hints for Vendetta ToT, which is set in post WW2.
