I am working on a fully 3d city. Although this is for civ3, i can make one in civ2 size as well (since in the 3d program this can be easily achieved).

However i am not sure if it looks good.

It is a byzantine set. The main building is the St. Demetrios cathedral.

    Προφανώς..!
    So that's a medieval Civ3 Salonica, right?

It looks very good. I also liked your Hagia Sophia the other day. What program are you using to make these?

IMHO, the palette is much too dark and dreary. Much of the detail is lost.

Do you have a brighter, cheerier version with more colors?

Very nice indeed , and very detailed !
maybe the big building can be made a little shorter..
one roof-section less, and some houses bigger, and would look more..variated..
but is already nice this way !

Much better, a great deal of detail and shading are now visible.

Otherwise, I agree with Von Bert that some variety in the houses would be more realistic. The building materials used for an important building has never been the same as that used for mere houses.

                            Extremely good job, dude!

I do 3D animation myself, and I can say that is a most respectable model!

Do you have any suggestions regarding the city?
