For quite a while I have been trying to fathom the best way of uploading and organizing units for the Resources section of the S-League. I did try making huge compilations but that involves so much work and is so complicated to organize that I almost gave up.
I have a new idea
Instead of trying to compile huge files I am going to limit the files to 7 units in a horozontal line. This way I can add new units as I compile/find them and putting them into a logical order will be much simpler. Other people can add units into logical spaces and reorganizing them will be a simple case of shifting the text about.
ToT units can also be added without messing up my nice neat grids! Existing compilations (sch as the Thirty Years war and Typhoons Infantry/Falcons etc...) will be left as they are.
I have started experimenting with some US units in the modern section:
US Units example
Before I upload hundreds I thought it would be a good idea to find out what the rest of the Apolyton community think of this method.
The only real drawback is that when you download the files you will end up with lots of little files. This can be solved by putting them into folders or pasting them together with a paint program.
Please let me know what you think of this system.
