Could be something like that. Not that hard to change into what it's supposed be, instead of musketeers and batleships. Just include it in your next version mate.

Thinks I will change now for the final version:
- The scenario will begin now on May, 1775 with the little
American invasion on Canada
- Boston will be under British control. If you play with the
Americans, you have to release Boston from British
troops.
- It will include now more historical battles, like the battle
of Yorktown or Saratoga, for example. I think I have
managed this reasonable with the events.
- Some cities renamed.
- Louisiana and the Mississippi is under Spanish control.
The Spanish now don´t have so many cities.
- Some changes on the map.
- Changes in negotiatons between the civs.
- Two different event files, one for the Americans, one
for the British.
PS: Fairline, I made some modifications on your AWI unit set and I didn´t ask you if this is ok for you. Sorry about that. If you wish, I can delete them in the final version, otherwise I would like to use them.

While working on my rules file for AWI the game crashed. I´ve used the @CIVILIZE2 and @LEADERS2 for giving the civs their own techs. Now I started a new game, saved it into my AWI folder and loaded the savegame. It crashed and the computer showed me the following report:
Error "-5" on module "3" data: 19 0
I´ve looked at my rules file but I didn´t find any mistakes (or I don´t see it )
It would be very great if someone could help me.

Check out the thread, "Deciphering Error Messages".
Module 3: error in Rules.txt
Error = -5: @IMPROVE
Line 19: 18th or 19th line
I'll check your link and edit this post...
[Edit]
Code:Kanonengießerei, 16, 4, Cscx (Metallurgie)
[Edit2]
BAT and VBS files are useful to change the text files used at the start of a scenario (or mid-scenario, too).

After more then one hour working and experiment with the rules file I didn´t see this little and stupid mistake.
Thanks Boco.
Also great to see that there is a thread which explain the error messages.
Are there also a little tutorial of how to use VBS or BAT?

After much learning and working I´m back for completing my AWI scenario.
These things are done yet:
- City placement
- New tech-tree
- Added some new units
- Complete rules-file is ready
Now it´s time to make the events. I will include some major battles into the events, i´m curiously how they will work.
More will be come soon...

Are there anybody who would like to help me with posting my AWI files on the SL Wikipedia?
I´m nearly ready with everything, so I hope that I can post the files in the next days.

I would be happy to help. If you e-mail me the files and a blurb about the scenario I will whip you up a page. Alternatively if you want to make the page yourself and need any help give me a shout. It is really easy once you get to grips with the the basics, mostly a case of copying others work and modifying it!
I have PM'd you my e-mail address if you do want to send me the files

Thanks very much, Werd100.
I would like to do it by myself so it would be very nice if you can help me.
I will PM you in the next days when I´m ready for creating a page on the SL Wiki.
I´m translating my text files into English now. I hope it will be done in two or three days.
