The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.
25 themes/skins/styles are now available to members. Check the select drop-down at the bottom-left of each page.
Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
I have started a game today. There's two initial notes I'd point out. I'd have all negotiaion canned and trigger war or alliances with other Europeans through events (and keep the Pirates hostile). And, a nitpick, but at that particular time, Toronto should be called York and Ottawa should be called Bytown.
Thank you for your feedback, Patine.
The city names are changed.
I´ve made via events, that the French makes war against Britain. But i don´t know how i can make alliances via events.
For the Indians i thought they could make alliance between Britain or Revolutionary America.
Btw, can i make more units available via random events or only one unit?
More units for example to simulate a sudden attack by Indians.
That´s a good idea with the pirates. I will make them no negotiation between all nations.
Now that I've played a few more turns, I have a few comments and suggestions.
1. Visually, this is first rate. I love the dll files and the icons in particular. I might steal some for Frederick the Great if that's all right with you. Of course the units and the cities are good too.
2. The tech tree seems very good, and it makes sense for the period. I like the selection of techs.
3. I like the scale of the map. It's good to have the Caribbean and Canada included as they were also part of the theatre of war.
4. Finding good historical maps is difficult to do, but using modern maps can cause problems.
At this time, there were only three Canadian cities of any size: Quebec, Montreal and Halifax. Toronto and Ottawa didn't exist under any name, except perhaps as forts.
The same for Louisiana, where New Orleans was the only city of any size, although there was a string of forts up the Mississippi River. Also, Louisiana was Spanish controlled at the time of the Revolutionary War.
The land was mostly uncleared at this time. Everything in Canada and west of the Appalachian Mountains was heavily forested.
5. The war began with one of those annoying American invasions of Canada. They captured Montreal in November 1775 and besieged Quebec from December to May 1776, before retreating. You might want to add this campaign to the scenario.
6. I'm playing as the Americans, and finding the British to be fairly easy opponents. Consider increasing the British reinforcements when playing as the Americans.
All in all, a fun and well done scenario. Keep up the good work!

My mistake. These cities weren't founded till AFTER the American Revolution, when the Loyalists (denizens of the 13 Colonies still loyal to the Crown) settled in Upper Canada (now Ontairio) and founded them.

Feel free to use all the graphics that you need for your scenario.
I´ve already renamed Toronto and Ottawa. Patine wrote that they didn´t exist during the Revolutionary War.
I think I will give them size one, they will represent Forts in that area.
I thought that Louisiana was controlled by the France and during the Napoleonic Wars sold on the Americans.
The map I used shows North America before the Seven Years War 1750. When I give the Spanish Louisiana, they should be a strong nation in the Continent.
You´re right. The land after the Apalachian Mountains were mostly uncleared. I will make more forrest.
I´ve read about the little invasion on Canada the Americans did at the beginning of the war.
Boston was also captured by the British 1775 and released by the Americans on March 1776.
These are interesting points, I should include this campaigns into the scenario. The War begans 1775 with first little battles near Lexington and not on 4th July 1776.
During my playtests with the Americans I noticed that the British had problems to conquer my cities. So I decided to give them more reinforcements.
It´s very hard to find a good balance so I need your opinions about the British reinforcements.
I think I will make the changes during the weekend (if I found the time). Maybe I will post the new scenario file.
Eventually I have to change the events file too.

Sometimes in scenarios that are playable by two distinct civs, the author finds it necessary to have 2 separate events files. This is to compensate for the dumb AI being not very competative in a head-to-head war.
Here's a hint for ToT events. I see 6 identical events in your file:
Trying it atm. When killig hessians I get musketeers in Knoxville and when killing British ships I get a battlehip outside of Savannah. Asyou know both units are worthless. I just disband them.

The Americans can´t build a Ship on the Line, so they can capture them from the British. You will get one by event if you destroy a British Ship on the Line.
Same goes for the Hessians. Some of the Hessians fought for the Americans when they became a prisoner of war.

I know that's the case. Somethings obviously wrong with my event file since I get musketeers and battleships, which isn't even in the game.

I don´t know this site but it looks very interesting. Especially the uniform graphics.
I´ve made a list of things I have to change. Perhaps on this site could be some interesting things I will add.
@Arthedain:
I don´t have any problems with the events when I get a musketeer or battleship. I play with the German events file and only translated it into English. Maybe during translation I could made a mistake.
