How does one get round to doing this. I've created a login but all i can figure out is how to edit the description.

For example....How can I change the DST ver 1.3 to ver 2.0?

the uploading function seems to relate to graphics only?

yes I'm planning to put my entire collection up.

I have to admit that despite being a fan of Wiki sites in general I don't know allot about our own beloved SL Wiki. Can one find allot of relevant and accurate information on the community hear and scenario's in general on the site?

If someone is going to fix the site, they might well begin with fixing the SCENARIO LEAGUE header at the top of the home page. Those of us who are peasants at heart and stubbornly persist in using Internet Explorer are getting a mite tired at visiting the CENARIO LEAGUE wiki. Looks unprofessional as hell.

Hi Koby. I'm happy to hear of your project. Have you looked at the editing instructions at the bottom of the main page? http://sleague.apolyton.net/index.php?title=Home

They should answer most of your questions, but if you need any help, just ask.

I learned by editing an existing page, and just modify it to fit my context. It's really easy once you understand how it works.

I would be very interested in creating a Wiki page for my new Vietnam scenario when it is finished.

I am, I am sad to say, not very patient with technology and need a bit of help getting started.

To edit an existing page do you View Source and play around with it in the sandbox?

I did read the FAQ. I was confused by the positioning of the [edit] buttons at first but I understand now, the second [edit] button controls the download section even though it appears visually to be linked to the description section.

I guess the only question I have now relates to the uploading bit.

how would I get about uploading a scenario file? Is it using the the routine described under uploading images but using a zip suffix? Do I need to replace/delete the old files or just leave them there.

I did manage to upload the game files to the image area so that problem solved.

                One last problem

I've managed to change the the v 1.3 to v 2.0 in the master scenario list but there doesn't seem to be anywhere to change the v1.3 in the scenario's own page. i.e.

can anyone help? As far as I can tell from comparing with other pages, the problem is that the

Dainichi Sekai Taisen v1.3 1937 kobayashi Historical Civ2 Scenario

appears before the first section and comes under the title which can't be edited from that page. So where can it be edited from???

Eivind has 'helped' me find the edit button and that was all I needed. All has turned out well and I've successfully created a ZWK page now using an identical format. Looks like I'll be doing the rest of my body of work over the next few days.

The only thing I realized later was the yellow background of my icon for ZWK. Should I change that back to transparent?

I think a transparent background would look nicer

Yeah, I've fixed it with a new Pz VII King Tiger icon.

The only icon left which stands out is the spartacus one. I'd fix that one too but I think it was put in by HTower who did most of the initial scenario pages so there must have been a reason why he wanted it that way.

It is actually very easy. Just follow the following steps:

                          1. register with the S-League site (sixty seconds tops)

                          2. upload your zip files and one unit icon using the upload link on the left menu bar.

                          3. goto the main scenario page and click the edit button (again use the one on the left menu bar, the other edit buttons are only for editing sections)

                          4. While in edit mode find where your scenario whould fit in alphabetically and make a space there. Then copy any other entry and paste it in the empty space. Then edit what you pasted to reflect the correct details. Preview and if it looks ok, save.

                          5. The link to your scenario page will be green as it does not exist yet. When you click it a new blank page will open. Copy the entire contents from someone elses scenario page by using edit mode on their page, paste it into your own page uder edit mode and replace the contents as needed. Preview, then save.

                          6. To save time, remember to only copy material from the same genre (either Historical of Fictional).

Thanks for the help Kobayashi. After about an hour of messing around and swearing I have sused it out. Not as difficult as it first looks. I was mainly confused about how to attach my download but checked someone elses work ane finally twigged that I had to change it from Image to Media.

I'm chuffed to bits with it now!
