Well I've done a lot of mapping of the rules with Excel. It makes for quicker and easier editing.

Would you be willing to share what you did with Excel? I suppose I could use something similar for my own scenario-making...

@Varwnos: Actually that would be appreciated. I will need some new icons. Thanks

@Cyrion: I was already thinking of sharing. What I've done is copy pieces of my rules.txt to another text document. From there I opened up the new text document in Excel and used the converter wizard to drop in the individual values into cells. Then I simply made my changes, identified the changes in bold or with the highlighter, and used the Excel document as a source document when re-editing the rules.txt file.

By using Excel I can make notes, use titles for identifiers, etc. This way I can't screw up my text file to bad by editing blind.

I was referring to your buildings. I could use them as icons seeing as I already have the city graphics down.

Units have been fleshed out from the Second Punic War to about the 8th century AD. Hopefully I can make it all work.

Does not TOT allow for biger ones as well?

No, not the cities as far as I know. They do allow for more city styles though.

That was a very nice cities graphic indeed. I was really impressed with that massive hole in the ground graphic just to the left of the airbase. What role does that graphic fullfill exactly?

Anyways, when exactly will you be needing the title graphic by Harry? I only ask so I can prioritize the work I have ahead of me this week.

Sorry to disappoint Chris, but that's just a leftover. I was not intending on making multi maps in this version.

The title graphics can wait awhile. I still need to do some more work on this before it can be playtested.

I have just posted a thread about my new project Rome 281 b.c - 400 (?) a.d. Had not spotted this thread. My one is for MGE so its not realy a clash!
I am using roughly the same tribes, except the Barbarians (Germans, Skythians, Dacians etc...) are one of the seven and the Persians start off as the Seleucids.
Looks like mine starts earlier and finishes earlier. To be honest the shift from Rome to Constantinople seemed a bit complex, also I have not worked out exactly how to do the later barbarian invasions yet. I suppose events can create enemy units but cannot make them go where you want!
                                Good luck mate.
