  • is my civ ok, to play tot?

    sorry, i am new in this forum and in civ 2, i want to know if my civ 2 multiplayer gold edition can play all scenarios and modpacks, because i saw a lot of versions, well sorry too for my english, can we speak spanish????, yhank you for your patience

    in case that my civ cant play the scenarios, where can i have a path to play, may i have 2 civ in my hard disk???

    Welcome to the forum!

    Yes, Civ2 Multiplayer Gold Edition (MGE) can play all civ2 scenarios, exept for those made for Test of Time (TOT).

    Generally we have a rule to keep everything in English, but to get you on your feet, I'm sure some of our Argentinians can straigten you out. If you PM Dario or Academia you can speak as much Spanish as you want .

      ok thanks for your time, i have another question, i must put all the files from a scenary in the same directory, or they must go in specific places?????

        You should have a scenario folder in your civilization 2 directory.

        You need to create a separate folder for every scenario in that folder.

        For example, here is my civ 2 directory for the scenario "Hellas":

        C:\Program Files\Civ2\scenario\Hellas

          ok, the sound directory i guess should be in the scenary dir ok

          and... yes another question... jejeje

          how can i install the modpack, example middle earth..and what is fantastic modpack required in a lot of scenarios?? my civ still working ok with this modpacks or upgrades?????

            I don't have much experience with modpacks, but I do use alternate graphics and sometimes alternate rules. Modpacks usually change more than just those two basic parts.
