multi-units

hey, long time civ 2 mge player here, never posted on the forums but i've been lurking for a while. i edit units in ms paint and have had lots of trouble making good multi-units within the unit diamond and other constrictions. i was wondering how others do it so well.

ps. the civ 2 creation thread keeps me going, you're all quite talented and finding new units brightens my day.

Well I've never tried multi-units, but I think the main idea to follow is that all the single units bases within the multi-unit need to occupy the single pink diamond. This will cut down on overflow into the tiles next to the one the multi-unit is placed on, making the unit easier to identify on a game board filled with many units.
