  • Prevent game from ending?

    Greetings!
I have a number of scenarios I've downloaded and I enjoy playing, but I want to just play until I've eliminated everyone else from the map. I keep running up against the built-in end of the game ("blah-blah-blah, YOU HAVE WON THE GAME!"). I don't really care about my score, I just want to annihilate every single one of those rat-bastards that keeps springing sneak attacks on me!
I've mucked about with all kinds of settings with Set Game Year, Turn Year Increment, Starting Year, and Maximum Turns (set to 4999, 5000, 9999); I've started scenarios, changed the settings, saved it as a new scenario; I've even created scenarios from scratch and gotten it to say when I start that the game will run until the year 6000-something. But every time, it ends near the original time. I'll take a save from a couple turns back, Set Game Year to five years after the start, or back to 5 AD, etc., but I cannot make the damn game just keep playing until everyone else is dead.
Yes, I could keep on playing after the scenario ends, but I really want the game to tell me I've won after everyone else is dead; just a true Bloodlust option, ya know? Is what I'm asking possible? I can't find any help when I search the forum. (FYI, I have ToT.)

It's one of those things. Can't do much about it.
