What was that rules change again?

Also, should we establish some victory conditions along the lines of First Strike? Points for techs received, points for colonies established, points for trade made, minus for war declared without casus belli etc? I am open for suggestions.

Right now there's a little confusion as to what the victory conditions in the other game is, cause we didn't discuss them before we started.

Let's discuss then. If we would create the VP system in this, I would enjoy it very much Smaller scale, you see.

                Habsburgs, Anno Domini 1516

*Carlos I, King of Spain, proclaimed Emperor Carlos V in the Vatican by the Pope itself! Carlos V, a true Christian will defend at all coasts the Roman Church against the Ottomans and convert the new world to the true belief.

*Hernan Cortes departs form Spain ready for the conquest of the Aztec Empire

                *Trade with the Netherlands

                *Our Oriental border reinforced!

TO ALL: Please stay out of central America, the Spanish Crown considerer these territories has their own since we discovered and explored them.

TO PORTUGAL: We have great admiration for our daring Iberian neighbours; your world exploration has been an inspiration for us and an example to follow, we welcome this pan-Iberian Habsburg-Portugese alliance

The netherlands has interests in Central America, albeit minor, but we may discuss this further.

I won't play until we have settled a VP system, and until we all play by the same rules. To be honest I can't remember having altered the rules in any way, but I'll wait for Denis to explain that.

                        Martin Luther starts the Reformation

Martin Luthers' ideas reaches the kings of England, France and Holland. They all convert to Protestantism and announce a new power block in Europe to counter the Iberian alliance - The Protestant League!

-England sends colonists to North America

It is rather puzzling that France, once the stronghold of catholicism within Europe, has fallen to the Lutherans.

Portugal, with its tolerant society and modern outlook on socio-political issues, does not feel threatened, however.

May the best Christians win this race for the minds and hearts of the heathens.

We also want to warn our Spanish brothers about a berber war galley off the Iberian coast at (120, 74).

EDIT: Being a protestant feels great! Don't have to be in a box to confess my sin of being born in the first place!

French explorers spotted the savage indian city of Delaware. We claim that city as part of the french empire.
