  • Conquest of the Inca Empire

With the KW only a few tweaks away from completion (I hope), I thought I'd reveal my next scen. Like Steph, I thought I'd take a break from tanks, planes, and armored ships, but, like the KW, cover an uncovered piece of history. The Conquest of the Inca Empire has two significant players, both of whom are playable, but lead to very different game experiences. The Spanish (led by Fransisco Pizarro) have a few VERY powerful units, but a VERY limited build roster. The Inca (led by Atawalpa) have MANY units, can build almost freely, and are under a Fundamentalist gov't (given many Inca couldn't even imagine inspired leadership from anyone but the Sapa Inca), but their units are individually FAR less powerful than Spanish ones. Their are a few surrounding Native civ's, but they're not really playable. The goal for the Spanish is to conquer this gold-rich, heavily populated empire. For the Inca, you must wipe out the Conquistadors to preserve your independence. I still need a lot of graphics, many of which don't yet exist, but any comments, criticisms, or contributions would be appreciated.

Sounds like a really cool one, Patine!
Some good non-gunpowder scenarios on the way..

But make sure you give KW enough time to be fully
beta-tested and ready before launching a new epic!

I understand. I'm just in early development right now. There wouldn't be a chance of a few cities, icons, and/or people out of you down the road, would there? BTW: not entirely non-gunpowder. Though most Spanish units use Medieval weapons, they do have a few musketers, dragoons, and cannons (the bastards!).

I have a sneaking suspicion that you were preparing for this Steph

                      Great units

Nah, not really. I mean, we both know my mods are puny attempts on fairline's superior work - and save the first two I have been a lazy duck when it comes to these units, you can ask Patrick about my productivity in the last couple of weeks to prove that

I agree completely Steph, very nice job indeed on those units, especially the Incan Spearman .
