Our Iranian allies told us of the great threat of a U.S invasion into Iran. We agreed to defend their independence. We are OK with the Iraqi and Afghan invasions, but Iran would go too far. And please, don't attack Iran just to "make it interesting", because radical fiction, which is based on reality, is not interesting. I suspected that you would try to attack Iran for this reason and hoped to reduce this unrealistic megalomaniac tendency of yours by putting a formidable defensive force in the aforementioned country. So no, I am not planning anything stupid and I would hope you are not planning something stupid.
